InBliss Center Policies & Guidelines

Welcome to InBliss Mental Health & Wellness Centre. We are committed to providing a professional, safe, and ethical therapeutic environment. Below, you will find our professional policies and guidelines. These policies are designed to protect both you and our practitioners, and to ensure a clear, respectful, and transparent therapeutic relationship.

Scope of Practice Policy

InBliss Mental Health & Wellness Centre is a private counseling and wellness center offering professional services such as psychotherapy, individual counseling, couples counseling, group therapy, psychological assessments, and mental wellness programs.

All services are provided by qualified mental health professionals including licensed clinical psychologists, counseling psychologists, and certified wellness practitioners.

What Our Centre Provides:

  • Therapy and counseling for emotional, psychological, and behavioral concerns
  • Mental health assessments and psychometric evaluations
  • Group therapy, workshops, and psychoeducation programs
  • Referral coordination with psychiatrists, medical professionals, and allied health providers when needed

What We Do Not Provide:

  • Psychiatric medication prescriptions (we may refer you to a psychiatrist)
  • Legal evaluations or forensic psychological assessments
  • Emergency or crisis stabilization services (though we will help connect you with appropriate resources)

Confidentiality Policy

Confidentiality is our foundational commitment. All sessions, personal information and clinical records are kept strictly confidential, in line with professional ethical standards.

Exceptions to Confidentiality

Confidentiality may be breached only when we are legally and ethically required to intervene and/or where there are potential harm situations. These include:

  • If there is an imminent risk of self-harm or suicide
  • If there is a risk of harm to another person
  • If there is suspicion of abuse involving minors, elderly, or vulnerable adults
  • If a court of law issues a legal mandate for disclosure

In such situations, only the minimum necessary information will be shared with relevant authorities or emergency contacts.

Psychological Assessment Policy

InBliss offers a range of standardized psychological and psychometric assessments.

Assessment Process

  • Assessment fees are separate from therapy session charges and will be communicated clearly before starting.
  • Results are shared only with the client (or legal guardian for minor clients).
  • A detailed written report is provided after the assessment is completed.
  • Interpretation of results is done only by qualified and trained professionals.

Policy for Working with Children

All services offered to participants under the age of 18 require written consent from a parent or legal guardian. Parents and guardians are encouraged to be involved in the therapeutic process when it is clinically appropriate.

In certain situations, the therapist may recommend that the child receive individual sessions for therapeutic effectiveness. The therapist will communicate observations to guardians in a way that respects the child's confidentiality while addressing safety concerns.

Formal child mental health assessments always include collateral information from parents/guardians, teachers, and/or school — Referral reports or details of therapy progress may be shared only upon signed consent of the parent/guardian.

Teletherapy & Online Counselling Policy

Sessions conducted remotely via secure video conferencing platforms follow the same ethical standards as in-person therapy.

Session Protocols

  • Clients must ensure a private, quiet, and safe space during sessions.
  • A stable internet connection is required for uninterrupted service.
  • Sessions must not be recorded by either party without written consent.

Technical Disruptions

If a session is interrupted due to technical issues for more than 10 minutes, the session may be rescheduled at no extra cost. Repeated disruptions may lead to the therapist recommending in-person sessions instead.

Emergency Protocol

InBliss is not a crisis intervention center. If you are in immediate danger, please contact local emergency services immediately.

  • Vandrevala Foundation: 1860-2662-345
  • iCall: 9152987821
  • AASRA: 91-22-27546669

If your therapist determines during a session that you may need emergency psychiatric care, they will follow internal escalation procedures, which may include contacting emergency services or your designated emergency contact.

Termination of Therapy

Therapy may be concluded by mutual agreement between the client and the therapist, or either party may choose to end the therapeutic relationship if it is no longer clinically appropriate. The therapist may recommend termination in the following situations:

  • When clinical goals have been achieved
  • When therapy is no longer appropriate or effective
  • If the client engages in harmful behavior toward the therapist or other staff

Wherever possible, the therapist will provide at least two closing sessions and offer referrals to other professionals if needed.

Appointment, Payment & Financial Policy

Appointment Booking

  • Appointments can be booked through our website or via direct communication with our team.
  • Session timing and duration will be clearly shared upon booking.
  • Appointments are subject to therapist availability; we encourage early booking.

Payment Methods

  • Payments can be made online (UPI, card, net banking) or at the centre.
  • Session fees are payable before or at the time of the session.

Fees and Invoices

  • Session fees are updated and published through our official channels and shared upon inquiry.
  • An official invoice or payment receipt will be provided for every payment.
  • Insurance claims are processed through third-party partners. Clients are advised to verify this in advance.

Social Media & Professional Boundaries Policy

Therapists and practitioners at InBliss maintain strict professional boundaries. We do not connect with clients on social media platforms. If you encounter or follow any of our practitioners' personal social media accounts, it does not constitute a therapeutic relationship.

The Centre's official social media pages are used for educational content, awareness campaigns, and service updates only. They do not replace therapy or constitute professional guidance.

Legal & Court Involvement Policy

If a therapist is requested to provide legal testimony or documentation for a client's legal proceedings, the following policies apply:

  • A therapist will not attend a court hearing unless required by legal summons. We do not provide forensic psychological evaluations or custody/visitation recommendations.
  • Any court-related work (preparation of clinical documents, legal correspondence, or testimony) may be billed separately.

Center Security Policy

To ensure the safety of all clients and staff:

  • CCTV cameras may be installed in common areas (waiting area, corridors) for security purposes. Therapy rooms are never monitored.
  • Consent for privacy is upheld at all points within the centre and we expect mutual trust and responsibility regarding the same.

Session Duration & Cancellation Policy

Session Duration

  • All individual therapy sessions are typically 50 minutes in duration.
  • Couples, family, or assessment sessions may vary. Specific timings will be communicated at the time of booking.

Late Arrivals

  • If a client is late by more than 15 minutes, the session may be shortened or rescheduled at the therapist's discretion.

Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the session. Cancellations within 24 hours may be charged a cancellation fee.
  • No-shows (without prior notice) may result in full session charges. Repeated no-shows may result in a temporary pause or discontinuation of services.

Harassment & Misconduct

InBliss has a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of harassment, verbal abuse, threats, or discriminatory behavior from or towards clients, staff, or therapists. Any such behavior may lead to immediate termination of services.

Client Feedback & Grievance Policy

We welcome constructive feedback and encourage clients to share experiences. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your therapy or centre services, you may:

  • Speak directly with your therapist to resolve the issue.
  • Contact the Centre Manager via email with your concern: Support@inbliss.in

All complaints will be handled with confidentiality, fairness, and within a reasonable timeframe.

Emergency & Crisis Policy

InBliss does not operate as a crisis intervention center. However, if during a session a client shows signs of self-harm, suicidal ideation, or risk to others, the therapist will initiate the internal emergency protocol, which may include contacting emergency services, designated emergency contacts, or advising immediate psychiatric consultation.

For crisis outside of sessions, clients are encouraged to contact local emergency services or national helplines listed above.
